The G9500 Jim Dandy Flat Top from Gretsch is a compact, lightweight and smooth-playing, roots-focussed acoustic guitar that’s directly based on a thirties legend: the Rex. Dropped for the Gretsch Roots Collection, this dapper, character-packed little tribute bears a classic body shape that’s been crafted from hand-selected tonewood to result warm, timeless sound.
The G9500 Jim Dandy: Flexible & Warm
This model comes dipped in a limited edition Nocturne Blue finish accented by a cream outline and matching pickguard. The walnut fingerboard has been loaded with eighteen vintage-style frets while the nato neck has been given a C-profile to guarantee more modern playing comfort, while the tone remains warm, round, and flexible enough to back up strumming as well as finger-picking techniques.
