The SN-1000FR: A Fat, Varied Palette of Single-Coil and Humbucker Sounds
The push/pull function of both pots provides access to an array different voicings. Here, the single-coil pickups flip from that warm, sparkling vintage sound to that Texas-style growl, while the double-coiled humbucker at the bridge can be shifted into three completely different sounds: classic PAF-style tone, a Hot Rod humbucker sound, or that famous, slightly overwound single-coil sound. Also, it’s worth pointing out that the SN-1000FR not only features durable stainless steel frets but a scalloped compound fretboard, ensuring optimal grip all the way up the neck and pulling out a little more sustain than standard 24-fret St-style axes.
