Modern, adaptable and feature-packed, the Line 6 Catalyst 100 is a solid 1×12-inch combo for guitarists who frequently make their way to gigs, studio sessions and rehearsals. This 100-Watt guitar amp comes backed up by HX® Sound Design Technology which gives you the pick of six different amp voicings, ranging from immaculate cleans to fat high-gain. Not only that, Line 6 have loaded in a seriously sizeable selection of digital effects – including reverb, delay, modulation and even pitch-shifting – and all of the sounds can be tweaked in minute detail via the free Catalyst Edit app for PC and mobile devices.
The Catalyst 100: More Than Just An Amp
The built-in attenuator is another brilliant feature of the Line 6 Catalyst 100 since it allows you to dial down the power capacity based on the room you’re playing in. In addition, a direct out with ground lift has been fitted for clean on-stage signal transmission, and this combo can even serve as a 4-in/4-out audio interface in any home studio. As if all of that wasn’t enough, Line 6 have finished with classic-yet-high-tech guitar amp with a boost control, an integrated FX loop and MIDI functionality.
