The neck has also been treated with a coat of oil for a far superior, smooth and agile feel than that of a standard lacquered neck, and since this signature axe has been built for rhythm as well as lead guitarists, it bears a compound radius that graduates from 12 inches at the headstock to 16 inches at the body, supporting a tight chord grip lower down the frets and fast and fluid licks further up.
