While first and foremost a classic compact-yet-powerful bass amp combo, the Ashdown OriginAL C115T-300 features a fold-out head design so you can keep the ports and controls safely tucked in during transport. This portable 300-Watt bass amp weighs in at just 16kg and can be set up straight or placed down in kickback-mode for tilted, floor-monitor-style projection. The jack input and the electronics are compatible with passive as well as active bass guitars and, in addition to 5-band tone controls, there are dedicated effects send/return jacks for hooking up any external effects. Also, if the single built-in 15″ speaker somehow isn’t enough, you’re free to plug in an extra speaker or, if you’d rather play in private instead, you can just as easily connect a pair of headphones. To finish, Ashdown have mounted a DI XLR port for a direct link-up with a PA system.
