Jackson Audio have managed to build a sonic machine that packs the full frequency spectrum and tonal character of your sound with colour. Put simply, the far-reaching Prism stompbox is a buffer, booster, EQ, overdrive, and preamp in one that gives you the pick of three different shades of drive, and three different shades of boost so you can find a matching combo. The Boost switch offers ’Color’, which delivers a classic British clean boost; ’Amp’, which gives you a Mosfet style bump, and ’Trans’, which shapes a sweet, transparent JFEST boost. Once you’ve found a solid pairing, the Boost amount can be dialled in using the central pot and any final tweaks to the low and high-end frequency output can be made using the Tone and Body pots. In short, plug it in and start colouring in.
