If modern playing comfort, a dreadnought body, and rich sound is what you’re looking for, you’re in luck. The left-handed electro-acoustic Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Series AAD170LCE Grand Dreadnought features a specially redesigned, slightly larger body so more of that rich, bright and robust sound is pulled out of the solid spruce top, while the okoume back and sides combine with a nyatoh neck and an ovangkol fretboard to add a touch of warmth and ’weight’. Also, the Low Oval Grip neck accommodates smooth chord-work, and has received a thermo-ageing treatment to increase the stability.
The AAD170LCE: Optimum Playing Ease, Versatile Tone
The playing ease of the AAD170LCE is further optimised by rounded fretboard edges and the deep Advanced Access Cutaway, while the more technical side of things is taken care of by an AP11 magnetic pickup combined with Ibanez Custom Electronics. Plug in, and hear the sound of each string clearly projected with the support of X-M bracing and a scalloped ovangkol bridge.
