With the help of a fat 12-inch speaker, the Ashdown Studio 12 produces up to 110 Watts of power and thick, satisfying tone that can be customised in detail using the provided five-band EQ controls. Tweak the Bass and Treble, as well as the Middle, Lo-mid and Hi-Mid for full control over the shape then leave the signal clean or dial in some dirt using the drive pot. Since this solid yet compact amp comes housed in poplar plywood, it’s fully prepared for the road.

While basses come in both active and passive flavours, the Studio 12 fully accommodates both. Using the pre-gain pot, an extra layer of distortion can be added to your sound as well as a rounder, cleaner tone if preferred, making this little combo flexible enough to suit most if not any playing style. A headphone output comes fitted alongside a footswitch port and a line-in for connecting a phone or other external audio source. This bass amp is also front-ported to give the mid-range that extra punch and presence.
