The five-string ESP LTD B-5 Ebony bass bears the extended note range of a low-B string, the ultra-light playability of a set of twenty-four extra-jumbo frets and the deluxe, liquid-like look of a poplar burl top. When it comes to the sound, you’re getting the powerful output of a pair of ESP Designed SB-5 passive humbuckers planted at the bridge and in the middle and an accurate three-part set of EQ controls. Digging into the details, the build quality of this bass is thrown through the roof by the seven piece maple and mahogany neck, the solid mahogany body and the mega-stable neck-through construction.
