Finished with stage-worthy magenta trim, the Behringer Edge synthesizer is a sort of percussive counterpart to the Crave that came out a few years ago. This synth-based upstart is one of Behringer’s originals and is a fully analogue drum, bass and percussion specialist, setting users up with two oscillators (with hard-sync and FM), noise and a filter (LP and HP), while the top of the control panel has been reserved for two rows of patch gates, fully prepped for custom routing. All of this is piled on top of the beat-stacking potential of the 8-step pitch and velocity sequencer, and while the Edge is definitely a natural partner for the Crave, it can also be patched in and integrated into a Eurorack system.
