Quite a few lunar cycles ago and out of the blue, Behringer dropped a stunning recreation of the iconic TB-303: the TD-3. Simply put, the Behringer TD-3-MO is an improved version of the TB-303 and the TD-3 crammed into a single housing, where ’MO’ stands for Modded Out. This analogue bass synth offers various fresh features and is perfectly cut out for Acid, Goa trance and similar styles.
What’s New?
Known to always listen to their loyal followers, Behringer have loaded the TD-3-MO with long-coveted new features like a level-adjustable sub-oscillator for adding that all-important low-end rumble. In terms of sound design, various new features have been added as well and, while they’re each relatively straightforward, they combine to have serious impact. All the way at the top, you’ll find also new CV inputs for streamlined interaction with any external Eurorack gear, finishing the TD-3-MO and placing it right above both the TB-303 and the TD-3. And those brilliant smileys? They’re the icing on the synthesis-cake.
