Here’s your chance to get your hands on a high-quality, sustainably-sourced guitar: the Breedlove Organic Performer Concertina. This smaller, more manageable model features a CE concertina body that’s been developed with finger-picking styles in mind. For the build, Breedlove have only used woods that were harvested from dead trees or sourced from small-scale, sustainable suppliers. To guarantee full-range acoustic sound here, the top of the Concertina CE has been made of European spruce, while the back, sides and neck have been crafted using African mahogany.
The Organic Performer Concertina CE: Lighter String Tension, Supple Playing & Lush Tone
Next to a compact body, this Breedlove guitar also has a short 25″ scale length with lighter string tension as a result. The soft cutaway grants comfortable access all the way up the 18th fret, and so the guitar’s lush foundation sound can be fully projected to the foreground, the Concertina CE has been outfitted with a Natural Sound preamp. If the sound needs a light tweak to match your style, simply reach for the tone and volume controls tucked away inside the sound hole.
