If you’re a jobbing lighting jockey working with ArtNet network setups that demand a full army of DMX channels, then the Briteq LD-NET16E DMX interface will be a more-than-welcome addition to your rig. Hook this interface up to a computer and gain a total of 1,024 DMX channels, or half that number to 512 when you set it up in standalone mode. Per computer-connected interface, you get a maximum of sixteen universes to work with (that’s 8,192 channels) when combined with LED Player or Pro DMX software. If you’re a Pixxem user, then this number can even be raised to no-less-than 64 ArtNet universes (amounting to an epic 32,768 channels). From there, you can make up to ten scene choices, set the scene speed, gain control over a general dimmer, and select scenes via the fitted ’Next’ button. A timeline for twenty-four hour synchronised lighting, audio and video loops is even provided in combination with the included Pro DMX software. And, to keep things neat, the Briteq LD-NET16E DMX interface is even bus powered, removing the need for an extra power supply.
