Built for guitarists that demand modern playability as well as vintage style, the Cort G260CS has an alder body mounted with a broad-range HSS pickup configuration. These Voiced Tone pickups guarantee modern transparency framed by the vintage warmth, resulting in an instrument with a rich natural character that’s able to support any playing style. The humbucker and dual single-coil set up is also supported by a treble-bleed circuit, keeping the fullness of tone intact at lower volume levels.
The Cort G260CS: All Eyes on the Detail
While it comes at an entry-level price, this model has been treated to some boutique-grade detailing. The humbucker has been finished with a nickel block cover, while the headstock has been fitted with vintage machine heads; the nut has been made from bone to ensure maximum resonance and tuning stability; and the maple neck has been roasted to counter warping. In terms of playability, the 9.5 inch radius of the pau ferro fretboard combines with a 22 fret range for a comfy feel, while the stable two-point tremolo bridge retains tuning while supporting extreme vibrato work.
