Whether you’re in need of a flexible overdrive pedal or the perfectly stackable distortion, the Ages Five-State Overdrive from Walrus Audio has got you covered. Loaded with five different gain-state modes, this adaptable bit of kit can be combined with almost any electric guitar to bang out timeless tone. In addition to three distortion flavours, you’re set up with two low-gain settings where one’s a little more sparkling and transparent while the second setting offers a more round and compressed sound. From tight or balanced to fully unleashed sound, it’s all dialled in with ease using the volume, dry, gain, bass and treble pots. Here, turning up the Dry pot blends in more of the original sound of your guitar.
