As the name suggests, this solid alder-bodied electric guitar features an HSS pickup configuration: a commanding Noiseless™ Strat® humbucker teamed up with two single-coils of the same breed, where you can just flip the push/pull tone pot to coil-split the humbucker for even more tonal options.
The Player Plus Stratocaster HSS: A Modern Experience
Fender have treated the Player Plus Series Strat to a maple neck with a Modern C profile and rounded fretboard edges, resulting in a played-in feel and a modern playing experience whether you’re a complete novice or a seasoned session guitarist. On top of that, the 12″ fretboard radius is flatter than the standard 9.5″ Strat radius, and combines with 22 medium jumbo frets and a slightly-wider-than-average string nut for masses of comfort and playability.

The instrument comes professionally finished with a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge fitted with steel block saddles to accommodate tasty vibratos, plus a set of short-post locking tuners and a Posiflex™ truss rod to seal up the stability all across the board.
