Hi-grade yet affordable T-style performance mashed up with some modern upgrades: the FGN Guitars Boundary Series Iliad bears all the satisfying hallmarks you could ever want. The fixed, six-saddle bridge combines with FGN’s own Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.) and a set of vintage-style Gotoh machine heads to lay down a stable base in terms of both tuning and intonation, while the compound fretboard radius support snug chords near the headstock and fluid and fast licks closer to the body. Loaded with an SH pickup configuration, the classic twang of a single-coil at the bridge is beefed up by a fat humbucker slapped in the neck position – coil-tap it, and you’re greeted by that classic warm and full, T-style tone.
