Part of the Gretsch Electromatic Collection, the G100CE Synchromatic Archtop Cutaway semi-acoustic finds its origin in the elegant simplicity of forties-style design. Directly based on the Gretsch models first built more than 60 years ago, this guitar is largely built using maple to lay down a clear foundation sound with a tight response, while the rosewood bridge and fretboard round off the overall tone. Meanwhile, unmistakably sweet, jazz-and-soul-style tonal profiles are given definition by a floating single-coil at the bridge. The tone and volume pots rest on the pickguard and within easy reach, while a pair of authentic f-holes finish the refined picture.
