The Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet BT will give you nothing but devoted tuning stability, reliably rich and resonant tone, and eased access to every one of its frets. As with the single-cut Jet, the left-handed G5222LH has a chambered body construction with a solid centre-block. These internal chambers are what create the rich resonant tone you can only expect from a Gretsch Jet, and since there are no sound-holes, there’s little danger of the feedback that plagues the amplified sound of full hollow-body models, or the back-breaking weight of some solid-body models.
The G5222LH: Warm Solidity with Vivid Twang
This left-handed Electromatic guitar is mounted with two Broad’Tron pickups finished with the ever stylish Black-Top housing. It’s this humbucker combo that delivers all that thick, solid, and authentic, double-wound, hum-free Gretsch humbucker sound. While this configuration offers plenty of depth, the nature of these pickups have a slightly single-coil-style edge that gives the sound of the Jet its distinctive twang. Everything can be tweaked using the no-fuss tone and volume controls provided, while the stable Adjusto-Matic bridge, string nut and oil-bed machine heads ensure dependable tuning.
