Beskrivning
The title The Deserted Churchyards refers to several churchyards along the western coast of Northern Jutland, which long ago were safely inland, but which now are being eaten up by the threatening sea.
Though The Deserted Churchyards is an independent work, it can also be played as a Prelude to Funeral Procession.
The Deserted Churchyards was commissioned by Lerchenborg Music Days and is dedicated to Louise Lerche-Lerchenborg.
