The Realist have expanded the LifeLine Series pickups with the RLSTLX1: a high-quality double bass pickup that’s been specially designed to make sure it’s really easy to install without the need for glue or any other mounting materials. In addition, it’s of course of the utmost importance that any playing dynamics and the foundation sound of your instrument are faithfully amplified, which is why The Realist assigned two of their most respected engineers, veterans Ned Steinberger and David Gage the task of developing this streamlined double bass pickup.
Forget the Preamp
The piezo sensor inside the RLSTLX1 LifeLine XL has been placed in a specific way to make sure it’s as close as possible to the most resonating parts of the instrument. It also doesn’t require any pre-amplification, so the pickup can be plugged directly into an amplifier or mixer via the fitted jack output for distortion-free sound filled with punch, full mid-range presence and lush trebles – even at higher volume levels. Please note that the The Realist RLSTLX1 LifeLine XL pickup is compatible with bridge screws with a maximum diameter of 10mm.
