The Tama RM52YH6-CPM Rhythm Mate Drum Kit
The Tama Rhythm Mate is made up of a 22 inch bass drum, a 14 inch snare drum, a 10 inch and 12 inch tom, and a 16 inch floor tom. In other words, this is a modern ’rock’ configured kit. Each shell comes coated in a tasty Candy Apple Mist finish and has been made from 8mm-thick, 9-ply poplar to ensure a warm and classic drum sound, while the complete Meinl BCS cymbal pack finishes the setup with a 14 inch hi-hat, a 16 inch crash, and a 20 inch ride cymbal.
Solid Hardware
Tama are renowned for backing up drummers with solid hardware, and the Rhythm Mate kit is no exception. Besides the fully adjustable and extra-stable double-braced stands for the snare, hi-hat, and cymbals, Tama have included a pair of Omnisphere tom mounts for easy and secure tom positioning, a highly durable Tama HP10 kick pedal that’s built to withstand some serious stomping, and a set of pre-fitted Accu-Tune tension hoops that support fast and accurate tuning.
