This 18-inch polyphonic crash cymbal from Meinl’s Byzance Traditional series concerns an expressive cymbal with a dark sound. This cymbal has thinner rims and a thicker bell for an explosive blast and short sustain. The bell itself has a piercing tone and serves excellently for playing accents.
