The Meinl Classics Custom Dual 15″ hihat sounds muddy fat. This is due to the deep machine hammering and the B12 bronze from which the cymbals are made. The Classics Custom Dual hihat can be seen as a kind of cross between the Classics Custom Brilliant and the Classics Custom Dark series. This is because the rim is shaved and polished and the centre has the dark coating of the Dark series. Due to this unique combination, this hihat mixes very nicely with electric guitars in heavy genres such as metal and hard rock.
