A drummer cannot do without a practice pad. Whether you like to practise your rudiments on the road, at night, or on the toilet, a practice pad is necessary is zuke situations. The Meinl Stick & Brush SB508 Practice Pad is such a practice pad, and a very good one at that. That’s because the striking surface is made of rubber that is slightly soft, so your hits produce less noise. This allows you to practise even in the late hours without waking up your fellow residents. This is also a fine pad for the drummer himself, because the SB508 Practice Pad can be mounted on any thread with a diameter of 8 millimetres, the same as most cymbal stands. For those who prefer to just lay it down, a thick circle of foam has been applied to the underside, which prevents sliding and dampens the sound even more.
