Developed for semi-acoustic as well as electric guitars, the Gibson Burstbucker 3 is a PAF-style humbucker with a two-wire, 8.4 kOhm setup that can be mounted at the bridge or neck. The light-overwinding of the coils has been deliberately unmatched and combined with Alnico-II magnet poles for light and airy, classic mid-gain tone with a sweet medium-output.
