Beskrivning
Allmänt
The Ortega CONE-WND acoustic guitar amplifier has been loaded with two channels, effects, a DI output and more, making it a great option for singer-songwriters who play small gigs. What’s more, the whole thing weighs just 12 kilos, has been furnished with fold-out handles for eased transport, and comes complete with a protective cover. The first channel features a standard instrument jack input, while the second channel features a jack/XLR combo input so you can plug in a second instrument or a microphone.
Fat Stack of Effects and Controls
Whether you’re performing on stage or practising at home, it’s always nice to be able to dial in the sound swiftly. Ortega has equipped the CONE-WND with a 3-band EQ and a reverb control per channel, with the second channel also featuring various extra controls like a colour switch for adding a tone filter and a phase reverse switch for eliminating unwanted frequencies and countering feedback. The input volume can also be dialled in, which is great when you’re using the amp as a standalone PA system. When gigging with a full band, the CONE-WND can serve as a monitor. The fitted DI output can be used to connect directly to a PA system or mixer, while the send/return ports support external effects, and the external speaker output enables you to hook up an speaker cabinet to complete a more extensive set-up. Last but not least, you’re set up with an ever-useful headphone output.
