The Gibson Original Mini-Humbucker Rhythm is a P-90-sized humbucker pickup designed to offer single-coil clarity with a double-coiled feel. The first-ever Mini Humbuckers were introduced on a number of late ’60s Epiphone models that had smaller pickup mounting holes. These days, Mini-Humbuckers thank their popularity to Gibson’s Firebird guitars and, just like its ancestors, the Gibson Original Mini-Humbucker Rhythm features authentic, cream-coloured plastic, maple spacers, vintage-style braided and coated enamel wiring that’s been wax-potted for enhanced durability and to counter unwanted feedback.
