Allmänt
While the dreadnought acoustic shape is probably the best known, the jumbo is an undeniable icon in its own right. The exaggerated curves of the body are just as striking as the amount of volume its able to produce – the downside here is that jumbo guitars can get pretty big. To make the size a little more manageable, Guild introduce the slightly-shrunken-jumbo form of the Jumbo Junior. This is definitely still a jumbo model – just a little bit smaller. So, the body has a more manageable and comfy feel, and since the scale length has also be shaved down a touchto 23.75-inches, its also boasts snug playability. The eased tension also means that a standard set of strings have some more give for lighter feel beneath the fret hand.
The Jumbo Junior Electro-Acoustic: Grown-Up Quality
While this is the Guild Jumbo Junior, it bears fully-grown and matured build-quality, from the transparent and strong sound projection provided by the flamed maple back and sides, to the brightness and definition provided by the solid sitka spruce soundboard. The mahogany neck has been finished with a pau ferro fretboard which injects a touch of density and warmth to the total sound as well, so matter their playing style, virtually any guitarist will find the right balance of tone here. The Guild Jumbo Junior Flame Maple electro-acoustic comes fitted with a Fishman Sonitone GT-1 pickup system, setting you up with a truly complete, stage and studio ready instrument.
