The electro-acoustic Islander AT-4-EQ tenor ukulele can be plugged in, activating an on-board Fishman Kula 201 pickup and three-band EQ system complete with volume, bass, mid, and treble controls, and a built-in tuner, meaning that this professional instrument comes ready to perform. The high-quality pickup is able to capture and retain the full and naturally balanced warmth of the acacia body – a traditional choice when it comes to building ukuleles. The acacia also has a lightly flamed grain, giving the Islander AT-4-EQ its deluxe yet understated finish. Further features include a set of stable machine heads, a comfy and fast-feeling okoume neck, a walnut fretboard, and a set of pre-installed Aquila strings.
