What the B Celtic Minor Double Ding tongue drum has that the B Celtic Minor lacks is an extra A tongue, so it can be played in A major as well B minor, doubling the potential. Less experienced players can comfortably and intuitively play this rhythmic, tuned percussion instrument in B-minor and, once they’ve gained the necessary experience, will be able to switch to A-major at the drop of a hat. To find out exactly what this means, see the clips linked under the Videos tab on this page.
The RAV Vast B Celtic Minor Double Ding Tongue Drum
Made from 2mm thick steel sheeting and weighing in at 5.9kg, the refined RAV Vast has a hefty 20-inch diameter and 7-inch depth, making it larger than the average tongue drum; bringing the sound closer to that of a handpan, and finishing an instrument worthy of any seasoned professionals seeking to expand their set-up.
