Atomos launch the Nextorage AtomX Series: a range of ultra-compact SSDs that have been purpose-made for Atomos recorders. This 500GBmodel is 20% smaller compared to ’conventional’ 2.5″ SSDs and slots right into recorders like the Ninja V, Ninja V+, Shogun 7 and Neon while, using a special adapter (not included), it’s even possible to combine the Nextorage AtomX SSD with a Sumo 19, Ninja CAST or Shogun Studio 2. This mini-SSD supports every codec the aforementioned Atomos recorders support, including RAW; ProRes RAW HQ up to 8Kp30, 5Kp60 and 4Kp120 in combination with the Ninja V+; and ProRes RAW HQ6 up to 30p and 4Kp60 and 2Kp240 in combination with the Ninja V.
