The uniquely finished Fender Newporter Player grants intermediate and beginner players access to an electro-acoustic with a slimmer body than a dreadnought and an electric-guitar style, C-profile mahogany neck. So, if you’re more familiar with the neck of a Strat than an acoustic guitar, this model offers an incredibly manageable transition where the satin-gloss finish of the neck enhances the playing comfort even further while the smaller body shape feels snug against the body.
The Newporter Player All-Mahogany
The base of the body starts with a solid mahogany top that comes supported by a back, sides and neck carved from the same type of wood. Acoustically, this results in a warm, woody foundation sound with a clear focus on the mid-range, while the GraphTech NuBone bridge and nut guard the overall and help to keep the tuning stable. In addition, the Newporter Player All-Mahogany offers loads of volume and harmonics, courtesy of a piezo pickup and a CD-1 preamp made by the esteemed Fishman.
