The fresh models in the Performer Series form no exception as each versatile example feels extremely comfortable – even in the hands of beginners. This high level of playing comfort stems from a familiarly-shaped body and a tapered amara fretboard finished with 24 easily reachable frets.
Flexible Pickups
The PJ-pickup configuration of the Spector Performer 4 guarantees full sound made up not just of beefy basses but clearly-present mids and articulated trebles. Also, rest assured because a spicy, pumped up overall sound is the result, which can be tweaked using individual volume and tone pots per pickup to sculpt a wide variety of P/J-style sounds. Meanwhile, the lightweight body keeps the whole thing nice and manageable for the ride to gigs and rehearsals as well as for the ride during gigs and rehearsals!
