The 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Strat: Don’t Fight It, Feel It
The solid alder body bears classic and familiar Stratocaster shaping and contouring, the neck has been given a comfortable and familiar C-profile, while the snug 9.5 inch radius fretboard has been kitted out with the light and agile feel of a set of twenty-two medium-jumbo frets. Throw in subtle vibrato effects courtesy of the two-point synchronised tremolo bridge while fully backed up by the firm intonation and tuning stability provided by a set of six bent-steel saddles and closed oil-bed machine heads. The sound of the Screamadelica Strat is formed by three Vintage-Style ’60s Stratocaster single-coils, so the output is carved out by Alnico V cores that deliver famously balanced output framed by just enough growl and spank – perfect for spitting that nineties neo-psychedelica, dance-rock sound.
