Packing amp-like sound up inside a tight stompbox, the Suhr Eclipse lays on versatile and warm overdrive and distortion, and via two separate channels, lays it on thick. The two-channel setup is exactly what makes this pedal so flexible, since each channel features a set of three-band EQ controls plus an independent gain control pot. Over on the Blue channel, you can dial in a tight and tasty rhythm sound while, over on the Red channel, you can carve out a blistering lead sound with a boosted mid-range and the optimum amount of gain. The passive EQ has been calibrated to imitate the character of an amplifier as closely as possible while the unique Voice mini-pot can be harnessed to compensate for over-bright or over-dark-sounding amplifiers.
