The Meinl Stick & Brush SB135 Hybrid 8A are perfect sticks for drummers for whom the 7A is just a bit too thin. These sticks have a thickness of 14.1 millimetres, thin enough to play very subtle but thick enough to feel comfortable in your hand. This subtle playing is facilitated by the long taper, which ensures you have a great rebound. A very nice detail about this stick is the tip: it has a hybrid shape. The combination of a barrel and the classic drop shape gives you a clear articulation, but also a somewhat darker and fuller sound. This makes this stick breakable.
